Entry for the Scottish Counties singles event is now closed. We have 13 entries which is great. We are guaranteed 3 qualifying slots and await confirmation on a 4th.
The counties organisers will actually draw our players into qualifying groups which is different to what we thought.
I will advise groups next week once draw has been made. Apologies for the confusion.
Format in each group is to play all players in your group once playing 4 frames. If a player is 3-0 ahead the match ends.
There are prizes for highest breaks during the qualifying so breaks of 40 and above should be recorded.
A WhatsApp group with all players has been created for score updates.
