Can we just not extend each round by a week to give players more time,its the most prestigious comp left and the only one still running so won’t clash with any other matches🤷♂️🤷♂️
Steve, then we have players who can’t manage the following weekend etc etc.
As I said let’s just pull together and get matches played.
Same could apply from now till 24th April,no difference.
Can’t please everyone but more chance delaying with affect players more. I say again let’s just play two matches within the period.
Just to clarify for all players. We will be as flexible as possible as long as both matches played by the 4th May. E.g if last 32 is played after 24th that’s fine as long as next match played by 4th. Hope this helps clarify any questions…

I have one question I would like to be clarified if possible.
Is it possible for us to know the start times of the 4 quarterfinal matches on Sunday the 4th please.
The reason I’m asking is because there hasn’t been any venue dates posted on this competition thread until the mistake came to light and I was stupidly thinking the venue was going to be 2 weeks later on than it actually is because with the rounds being played at 2week intervals and the starting date for the competition.
I now have a clash because of a family celebration happening down near Edinburgh and the fact that a round has been missed in the planning of the competition and I only discovered this after searching in the archives for the league calendar to find the venue dates for this competition after I played my first match.
As you can imagine I’m now at a point that I’m trying to work out if I can actually continue playing in the competition or not.
I’m not saying that I will be effected with this as I know I have 2 very difficult matches to play before it becomes an issue but I still need to know if I’d be able to make it back in time to play and if it would be possible to get an evening match if I am successful in reaching the last 8.
If this isn’t possible then I’m prepared to scratch myself from the competition.

I know that you have made the decision not to move the venue dates for this and quite rightly so because of players have booked holidays and possible other reasons but equally my situation is important to me and I’m sure others would like to know also

The times will be posted asap.
Will be 2 matches in the afternoon and two in the evening. You did the right thing checking the Calander as this is where the info sits. The finals dates have not changed 🤷♀️ we will do what we can to accommodate anyone who has timing issues but clearly within reason.
Times for Sunday 4th May
Afternoon games 2.30pm
Evening games 7pm.
Venue Culter mills club.
Also just an apology from me as well for the mistake on missing a round we try to be as perfect as possible but sometimes things get missed honest mistake.As Derek says we will be as flexible as we can.
