The break at the end of the decider from 26 behind with the 3 remaining reds close to cushions, was as sickening as it was brilliant. 😠You rattle one of them and it’s game over, which made it even more exceptional under pressure. Well played John.

Marc 5 vs 2 John
110 v 17
49 v 61
69 v 27
74 v 1
17 v 82
108 v 12Â (Davis 69)
57 v 25
Marc raced into an early advantage with some excellent long potting in Frame 1, John leveled at 1-1 with a superb cross-double on the pink in Frame 2.
Marc took frames 3 and 4 to lead 3-1 at the interval.
John made a 44 break to win the first frame after the interval to bring the scoreline back to 3-2. The highest break of the match (69) was made at a crucial time by Marc in Frame 6 to go 4-2 in-front, and took Frame 7 after laying a fantastic snooker.
Well played to Marc and bad luck John. No real high breaks but there was some really good potting by both players throughout the match. Thanks as always to Sandy for getting the club ready and everyone at Culter for their hospitality and refreshments, it was a shame to see quite a low crowd turnout given we moved the Finals back to Tuesday, being the "snooker" night, after listening to feedback. Massive thanks to Raymond who gave up his night to referee the Final. Top work as ever.
