Congratulations 👏👏👏 to the 2023 Ian Wallace Doubles Champions Mark Davis & Derek Hudson well deserved winners We got off to a good start with a 40 break and was on course for a Max "Davis's words 🤣🤣🤣 in the first frame but Paul went into the pack and unluckily never landed on anything so I was forced into a safety shot and the break came to an end prematurely and eventually taking the 1st frame we were looking good, I think the fluked red at the start of the 2nd frame with the white safe it skiffed the blue and went in the corner and made 22 off it changed the match and from then on was one way traffic from Marc/Derek with some solid stuff 40+ 50+ breaks to eventually win the match 3-1 to take the title🏆 A huge thanks to the Culter Mills Club for staging the final and preparing the table finally thanks to John,Derek, from the Aberdeen committee and finally Ewen Laing for a first class effort for refereeing 👏👏👏 Excellent job m8 and to all the spectators 👏👏👏 We will be back next year to try again 👍
