North of Scotland 2019
The draw for the 1st Round of the NoS will take place tonight at Culter Mills.
The 14 non seeds will be drawn at random against seeds 19-32 in the draw, with those ranked 18 and higher receiving a bye. The Rankings have been updated as we operate a 2 year rolling system with points from Inter-Clubs 2016 being removed and points for Inter-Clubs 2018 being added. Then we will draw home/away down the full draw.
The home/away factor will now be drawn at random for each round as previously it didn't make a lot of sense with Seed 2 being away from home every round and Seed 3 being home every round just because of their relative positions in the draw.
Currently we are scheduled to have the Semis and Final only at the venue on a Monday and Tuesday Night, however I would like to also have the QF of this (being our flagship event) at the venue on the Sunday beforehand, however due to my work commitments of a Sunday I would need somebody to come forward and volunteer to organise this, otherwise it cannot happen. If anyone can do this please let me know and I will liaise with the club over availability, and with the counties over their schedule as often we have Sunday clashes. This would involve organising referees for the 4 x QFs and being there on the day to ensure the smooth running.

*Note, A few of the lower seed numbers were incorrectly updated, however, as we drew the non-seeds against a seed number rather than a name, and then drew if that seed number was at home/away, the original draw is valid, just had to put the names in the right place! Apologies to those affected, hopefully nobody has already played the match overnight!
