Will get as much advice as I can from current pool players who play in our snooker league with regards to obtaining rough handicaps for the unattached players, and then will sort out the divisions. Looks like there will be 6 divisions in total.

Please let me know if I've missed anyone here, entries have come in from a few different angles. Currently looking at 54 so a lovely number for 6 divs x 9 players.

Ok now the difficult bit, 18 Unattached players to attempt to fit into the correct divisions. Steven Fraser and Scott McH we've a good idea based on previously competing in the league. I think the fairest way is for the other 16 to tell us themselves where they think they would fit in by looking at the current snooker handicap list (which you can find on site) and giving us an estimated starting handicap as if you were joining the league. It's not going to be perfect, but it would be better than us guessing and as stated above, we don't just want all the pool players in their own divisions, need a good mix. Will then run these by a few lads who play pool and snooker to see if any glaring mistakes and sort from there.

Nobody would want to go in a league too high and get beat 4-0 every game, similarly nobody wants to go too low and win 4-0 every game, so we trust everyone to give us as accurate a figure as possible to provide competitive matches throughout the divisions. The snooker league players will be assigned divisions based on rankings list.

Not everyone is registered on this site so if the person who has put their names down can get me an idea of these estimated starting handicaps or pass on contact details. 

Hope to get these sorted by Friday and the divisions/fixtures posted by Monday.

Will be 8 games (4 home 4 away) for everyone with a 3/4 week period to play each fixture.

Also anyone who hasn't yet paid £10 entry fee please do so asap so you can be included in the fixtures.

Can you help at all with any of the pool lads snooker abilities? able to put a rough handicap against player names to give me an idea which division would suit best? Or drop a message in any of your forums/chats to have them estimate themselves.

Don't just want all in same divisions.
