Final result
Marc Davis 5-3 John McCann
Marc 79, 94. John 48, 50 69
Match got of to a slow start with Marc winning the opening two scappy frames. John then compiled a 50 break to get off the Mark. Mark won the next two frames with a well constructed 79 break to go 4-1 ahead. John dug in and with the help of a 69 and 48 break got to within one frame at 4-3. After a couple of re racks Marc got over the line with a great 94 break.
Thanks to Sandy and Culter Mills Club for hosting and supplying the food. Also Stuart Leeds for reffing the semi and final. Also Bryan Robson for reffing the other semi.
Well done to Alan Pedalty and Mark Oaten for reaching the semi final stage.

Thanks for hosting us again Culter and to Stuart Leece for refereeing the match. Commiserations John, showed why your a champion by digging in at 4-1 and making it extremely difficult to close the match out! An amazing ability to switch the flow of a match, it's a big quality to have.
A shout out to Alan for showing me how wrong I have been sighting the ball and helping me restructure my approach to the shot which has helped massively under a bit of pressure. Also to his wife Tracey for her support last night and taking me into their club, The New Club in Elgin, meeting the members and being made to feel really welcome by all there. Great to be involved in the snooker scene up North now, they really love their snooker and the standard is very good. Also well done to my captain, Alan Pedalty on reaching his SECOND Interclubs Semi Final, great effort and you certainly played your part. Nice to see a good crowd in for the Semis, bit like old times, pre-covid.
Good luck to all the players in the Aberdeen Singles, will get out to watch the final stages/help referee if required.
Lastly, I want to wish Allison success with her operation and a speedy recovery. Wasn't the same without you at the club last night, and look forward to see you back on the bar soon. Someone has to keep Sandy in check! Best wishes!

Well done Alan on reaching the Semi-Final for the 2nd time I didnt know that Congrats !!! Listen it was always gonna be tough against Marc but to even take a frame of him and beat the players you did I for one am absolutely delighted and thrilled you did so well again after been so close for many years wishing you every success in the future Pal 👍😁👍
