Hi guys, this is the schedule for this season doubles.
Entry fee is £10 a pair.
6th December closing date for entries
27th December 2021 1st round to be completed.
24th January 2022 2nd round to be completed.
7th Febuary 2022 3rd round to be completed.
Sunday 20th February 2022 afternoon semi finals and final to be played in the evening.

This has happened plenty times previously, most with legitimate reasons for being unable to play. Hey, that's life. But, my understanding is Marc had entered the comp down south a while ago but hadnt committed? Once committed, tried to get an extension to doubles comp but was denied by committee?
Sorry but we have had to read/put up with alot of Marc Davis garble on this website but yet its he that upsets the apple cart so to speak.
Maybe, moving forward, we
1. Grant an extension if all players are in agreement
2. Marc Davis and other players cannot enter comps if there's a possible clash?
I'm sure Marc's partner Derek received an apology but we certainly havent. Out of courtesy, that might be worth a shout too.
It has certainly pi**ed me off as I'm sure it has Stevie. Puts us off entering comps.

Just to answer on this matter I removed the post to tidy up the thread as the website is not to discuss Marc Davis or any other players personal life.He pulled out as couldn't make dates no big deal an oversight maybe on his part.He should've just apologised to Patrick and Stevie by Text or phone personally. There was need for putting any story on website.
