Getting back into snooker

Hi folks

I’m interested in getting back into snooker. I used to play many years ago - 30 years ago at Mr Gs, Cue Ball, etc.

I’m looking for some advice for getting back into it. Where’s good to practice (think I have a lapsed Culter Mills membership), which teams are recruiting, how much of a handicap would I get (would deffo need a big start!), etc?

Cheers Mark Davidson

Hi Mark,

Best place to practice is thru joining a club. I’m sure you could pop into Culter and rejoin? Also Riley’s is good for anyone to walk in and play. They now have a team and may start a second if there is enough interest. You could also enter the singles league for a starter. I’m sure there are a few teams looking for players but not best time as most off for summer and not looking on here. I’m sure someone will reply in time…
