Had a great time at the 2025 European Championships Mens Snooker Singles

Here is a summary of events Group stages first match I beat Jirka Maaranen from finland 🇫🇮 3-0 off to a great start 😁 2nd Match I beat Bo Jaristrøm from Denmark 🇩🇰 3-1 to Qualify for the last 96 with 2 wins 3rd match was against the talented French player Nicolas Mortreux 🇫🇷 I got off to the perfect start and went up 1-0 and then 2-0 and then the match turned on it's head and he battled back to 2-1 and 2-2 and by now the table was catching me out but I battled hard but eventually lost the match 3-2 , very disappointed after been 2-0 up 😪 so next up it was the last 86 to qualify for the the last 64 up next was Mustafe Yildiz from the host nation Turkey 🇹🇷 I lost the first frame but battled back and started to flow eventually winning the match 3-1 to qualify for the last 64 👏👏👏 so to the last 64 I came up against a very talented young 19 year old from Hungary 🇭🇺 Erik Nagy well I got off a great start taking the opening frame and then with the help of  a 39 break took the 2nd frame the match changed from then lost a close fought 3rd frame on the Pink after Erik fluked a Snooker on the blue 😪 that made it 2-1 and then the next frame it all seemed to change amazing how the run of the balls can help your opponent that made it 2-2 5th frame I was well in front looking good to make it 3-2 when Erik snookered me after developing the yellow I missed the yellow and Nagy started his counter clearance and cleared up to win on the black 😪 gutted !!! 6th frame I battled hard and got within 1 Snooker after a spirited comeback for 50 odd nil down I finally lost the match 4-2 I congratulated my opponent and wished him all the best for the remainder of the tournament , so close but yet so far I really enjoyed My experience and Holiday in the Pinetree Resort in Belek Antalya Turkey 🇹🇷 made some new friends and met up with some old faces from the past I'd like to thank everybody for there kind words and support during and before the Tournament started.

Not bad for a 52 year old 😁😁😁 I am very proud of myself and my achievements during this Competition competing against the very best players in Europe , also it was a honour to witness the 14 year year old Superstar from Poland 🇵🇱 the best young player and the youngest ever Professional player Michal Szubarczyk 👏👏👏
