2026 AGM
The annual AGM will be held on Tuesday 5th May. Please post any proposals to be considered on this thread. I will post agenda nearer the time.
Venue will be sportsman’s club 7pm.
Captains should attend or nominate a replacement for voting purposes. Anyone can attend from the snooker league but only captains or replacement can vote.

There’s been a fair bit raised on the WhatsApp chat about marking games.
Nigg 2 propose both teams mark a table each, and in the case of 1 table clubs both teams mark 3 frames each.
Another point… Slow play.
Taking nearly 2 minutes to play a shot which is staring you in the face is not on. We’re supposed to be encouraging more players into the game. This practice will only drive them further away.
It needs to be addressed.
Easy one and not sure it even needs a vote just best practice. Lot of confusion on "who scored what" "am I on top or bottom", "where did you put those points", "shouldn't I be on "x" score" "who broke off" ... Hear it all season!!
Proposal to just put the home player on top and then can never make a mistake as long as you know where you are 🙂
Id like to propose on behalf of the Country Club team - either no reffing at all, or optional reffing depending on agreement with the other team, thanks.
